Those kids portraits are not just about these children, they looks sweet,neat and innocent, but they are somehow alienated from their real appearance, from their posture you could found they all have subtle uncomfortable hiding behind their peaceful appearance. The red Krawatte and the knife are kind of sign, and those kids are used as metaphor. I am quite fascinated by exploring the meaning under the appearance.
